It’s been two and a half months since I started my modest little balcony garden and it has now gotten to the point that I can barely walk around out there.
Unfortunately there has been a lot more rain than sun this season, but with a little luck I will have some tomatoes and peppers to eat soon. Fingers crossed, people! Continue reading
Eggplant Parmigiana has always been one of my favorite “comfort” dishes. I don’t know why, but somewhere in the veggies and cheese and sauce there is perfection.
The issue? I had some extra tofu I needed to use up… be sure to check out what I came up with, I really think it’s a winner! Continue reading

So, you went ahead and just made two loaves of Challah and now you’re wondering what you’re going to do with it all, right? Not to worry, as you’ve come to the right place!
Go ahead and get out your frying pan, it is time to make us some breakfast! Seriously, nothing says ‘yum’ quite like homemade french toast!! Continue reading
Ah, Challah… is there another bread that is so sweet and rich and yelow? I really don’t think so, which is exactly why I thought I’d attempt to bake a loaf.
As I’m not someone to take the easy way, I decided to make this a sourdough loaf. I also decided to use Semolina to get a nice rich yellow color… neat, huh?
